Solution:

Given the rhombus;

AE=6cm,BE=7cm
\begin{gathered} AC\text{ and }BD\text{ are diagonals of the rhombus. Thus;} \\ \\ AC=2(AE)=2(6cm)=12cm \\ \\ BD=2(BE)=2(7cm)=14cm \end{gathered}

Then, the area, A, of a rhombus is;

\begin{gathered} A=(|AC||BD|)/(2)cm^2 \\ \\ A=(12*14)/(2)cm^2 \\ \\ A=84cm^2 \end{gathered}

ANSWER:

Area=84cm^2
