start by finding the area for both of the circles with radio 8 and 6 using the formula


A=\pi\cdot r^2

then


\begin{gathered} A=\pi\cdot8^2 \\ A=64\pi \\ \text{small circle} \\ A=\pi\cdot6^2 \\ A=36\pi \end{gathered}

to find the exact area substract the bigger one with the smallest one


\begin{gathered} A_t=64\pi-36\pi \\ A_t=28\pi \end{gathered}
