Describe a time when your failure did not stop you. How did that affect you ?

Once, I trained a whole month and worked really hard to achieve better swim times in my next meet. Unfortunately, I added time on all of my events the on the competition that followed my training. I felt really depressed and wanted to leave in the middle of the meet. Suddenly, i remembered that one girl that also added time in all of her times and left the meet. So i made my decision. I decided to stay. No matter how bad i performed, my parents let me swim not so i could be a failure and go home. In the future, this decision was much easier to make, and my self-image improved a lot, as well as my confidence.
