Explanation:

clockwise is down to the right, up to the left (like a real clock)

the rotation is 180 deg because the shape is now facing the exact opposite way it was at the beginning ( 180 deg is half a circle, so if you face one way and turn yourself half a rotation from your starting position, you have turned 180 degrees)
