Answer:

So first, you round to the nearest tens. Then you round to the nearest hundreds with your new results. Then the same thing with each digit.

Note: 4 or less, let it rest; 5 or more, let it sore.

Let’s say a number is 12345, to round it, look at the last two digits. If the last number (5) is 5 or more then you add one to the number before it (4). But if the last number is 4 or less then you subtract one from the number before it. And that fifth number spot will be filled with a zero. In this case, 12345 is rounded to 12350

Another example, 28461 rounded is 28460
