Factoring to find the zeros 2. n^2+7n+15=5

To solve the equation we write all the terms on the same side:


\begin{gathered} n^2+7n+15-5=0 \\ n^2+7n+10=0 \end{gathered}

now we factor the left side:


(n+5)(n+2)=0

then:


\begin{gathered} n=-5 \\ or \\ n=-2 \end{gathered}

Therefore the solutions are n=-5 and n=-2
