Solution:

Given:

y=(1)/(4)x-3

To graph the line, at least the coordinates of two points are needed.

Using the x and y-intercepts;

\begin{gathered} x-intercept: \\ when\text{ y = 0} \\ 0=(x)/(4)-3 \\ 0+3=(x)/(4) \\ 3=(x)/(4) \\ x=3*4 \\ x=12 \\ x-intercept=(12,0) \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} y-intercept: \\ when\text{ x = 0} \\ y=(1)/(4)(0)-3 \\ y=0-3 \\ y=-3 \\ y-intercept=(0,-3) \end{gathered}

Using the two points, the graph of the line is shown;
