Explanation:

GIVEN:-

The Perimeter of an equilateral triangle is equal to its area.

UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT:-

Let length of each side of equilateral triangle = a cm

The triangle has 3 sides, So

= 3 × a

= 3a cm

FORMULA:-

According to the question,

Perimeter of Equilateral triangle = Area of Equilateral triangle.

3a \: = ( √(3) )/(4) a { }^(2) \\

REQUIRED ANSWER:-

3a = ( √(3) )/(4) {a}^(2) \\

3a * 4 = √(3) a {}^(2)

a = 4 √(3)

SO, The length of its side = 4√3 cm.
