In this question we are given the volume as 0.250L and the concentration as 2.30 M

we are required to find the number of mols of KI and we can use the following equation M= n/L

when we rearange the formular and make n subject of the formula it becomes

n = MV

therefore

n = (2.30)(0.250)

= 0.575 mol
