Part A

For this case we need to remember that by deifnition the IQR is given by:

IQR= Q3-Q1

Where:

Q3= third quartile and Q1= First quartile

Then we can find the values for each mall and we have:

Vallet View Mall

Q3=24.5 , Q1= 6 IQR= 18.5

Lone Pines Mall

Q3= 21.5 , Q1= 8 IQR= 13.5

Part B

Greater variablity with higher IQR then the answer is:

Vallet View Mall

Since the IQR = 18.5 higher than the Lone Pines Mall IQR of 13.5
