k is the midpoint of JL

KL= 7n+ 10

JL= 76

Since k is the midpoint, then;

JK = KL = 7n + 10

Also

JL = JK + kL

76 = (7n + 10) + (7n+10)

76 = 7n + 10 + 7n + 10

76 = 14n + 20

subtract 20 from both-side of the equation

76 - 20 = 14n

56 = 14n

divide both-side of the equation by 14

56/14 = n

4 = n

n = 4

JK= 7n + 10 = 7(4) + 10 = 28 + 10 = 38

KL=JK=38

KL=38
