If we graph the following lines, on the same plane

Y= x+4

Y= - 2x-2

we obtain:

According to the above image, we can see that both lines intersect at the point (x, y) = (-2, 2)

So that, we can conclude that the solution of the given system of linear equation is:

(x, y) = (-2,2)
