n = number of nickles

p = number of pennies

Therefore,

p = 12 + n

1 nickel = 0.05 dollars

1 penny = 0.01 dollars

Therefore,

\begin{gathered} n(0.05)+(12+n)0.01=\text{6}.06 \\ 0.05n+0.12+0.01n=6.06 \\ 0.06n+0.12=6.06 \\ \text{0}.06n=6.06-0.12 \\ 0.06n=5.94 \\ n=(5.94)/(0.06) \\ n=99 \end{gathered}

Therefore,

p = 12 + 99 = 111

n = 99

One linear equation for the sytem is p + 5n = 606 is true

The system has one solution is true.
