Answer:

The SMALLEST angle has a measure of 27°

The MIDDLE angle has a measure of 72°

The LARGEST angle has a measure of 81°

Explanations:

Let the smallest angle in the triangle = x

Let the third(middle) angle = y

Let the largest angle = z

The first angle is three times as large as the smallest angle

z = 3x

The third angle(middle) is 45 more than the smallest angle

y = x + 45

Sum of angles in a triangle is 180

x + y + z = 180

x + (x + 45) + 3x = 180

x + x + 3x = 180 - 45

5x = 135

x = 135 / 5

x = 27

y = x + 45

y = 27 + 45

y = 72

z = 3x

z = 3(27)

z = 81
