Step-by-step solution;

For the graph given, we have what is the negative of a square root function. In order words for a square root function the graph would appeare as shown below;

However, for the negative value of the square root the graph of the function would be as follows;

Note that the graph shown has been shifted 5 units up along the y-axis. This means the graph would move upwards and the equation would reflect as follows;


\begin{gathered} y=-√(x) \\ \\ Shift\text{ }5\text{ }units\text{ }up: \\ \\ y=-√(x)+5 \end{gathered}

We can re-arrange this to be re-written as;


y=5-√(x)

ANSWER:

The correct answer is option C,
