If (1, -2) is reflected over the x-axis, then the image is (1, -(-2)) = (1, 2).

If (1, -2) is reflected over the y-axis, then the image is (-1, -2).

Then, the points are image over the x-axis is (1, 2), and the image over the y-axis is (-1,-2).
