We have

2,777,000 births, 87 milllion population in 1900

3,946,000 births, 327 million population in 2016

In 1990

The birth rate per 1000 population is

(2,777,000)/(87,000,000)*1000=31.92\approx31.9

In 2006

The birth rate per 1000 population is

(3,946,000)/(327,000,000)*1000=12.07\approx12.1
