2+3=5
30 divide by 5 is 6
6*2 is 12 6*3=18
Ducks=2 Chickens=3
Ducks also equal=12 Chickens also equal= 18
18-3=15
12:15
Simplify:
4:5

Answer:

4:5

Step-by-step explanation:

No. of chickens before giving away 3 chickens = 30 x 3/5 = 18

No. of ducks before giving away 3 chickens = 30 - 18 = 12

After giving away 3 chickens,

No. of chickens = 15

No. of ducks = 12

New ratio = 12:15 = 4:5
