The amount of aluminium need to make the bucket is the same as the surface area. In this case the surface area is made of the circular bottom base plus the lateral area. The lateral area is a trapezoid.

The area of a trapezoid is given by:

A=(b_1+b_2)/(2)\cdot h

to find the bases we need to remember that the greater base is equal to the circumference of the upper circle and the smaller base is equal to the circumference of the bottom circle. Then we have that the surface area is:

\begin{gathered} S=(90\pi+52\pi)/(2)\cdot30.6+\pi((52)/(2))^2 \\ S=2172.6\pi+676\pi \\ S=2848.6\pi \\ S=8949 \end{gathered}

Therefore we need 8949 squared centimeters of aluminium
