we have

2x + 6y = 10

For x=-1

substitute the value of x in the expression and solve for y

so

2(-1) + 6y = 10

-2+6y=10

6y=10+2

6y=12

y=2

For x=1

substitute the value of x in the expression and solve for y

so

2(1) + 6y = 10

6y=10-2

6y=8

y=4/3

For x=2

substitute the value of x in the expression and solve for y

so

2(2) + 6y = 10

6y=10-4

y=1

therefore

the values of y are

y=2, 4/3,1
