a) We know that the volume of a cylinder is:


V=h\pi r^2

Now we can replace the values we have so:


\begin{gathered} V=23\cdot(2^2)\cdot\pi \\ V=92\cdot\pi \end{gathered}

b) now we can replace pi by 3.1416 and operate so:


V=289.03
