In the first two years, the value of the car depreciates quickly, while the rest of the years it depreciates at a steadier rate, the latest decay of the value is represented by a line, because with lines the rate of change of the value of the car is constant while for the first two years the value can be represented with an exponential decay because it is a faster depreciation. The graph would look like this:
