In order to find p(A or B), we just need to use the following probability formula:


p(\text{A or B)}=p(A)+p(B)-p(\text{A and B)}

Using the values given in the question, we have that:


\begin{gathered} p(\text{A or B)}=0.0902+0.699-0.0557 \\ p(\text{A or B)}=0.7335 \end{gathered}

So we have that p(A or B) is equal 0.7335
