We know that Linda earns $12.50 an hour.

Let's find the rate of change of the graph to find Tony's earning ratio.

r=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Let's use the points (0,0) and (4,40).

r=(40-0)/(4-0)=(40)/(4)=10

This means Tony earns $10 an hour.

Then, we divide the earnings

(12.50)/(10)=1.25

Hence, Linda earns 1.25 times as much per hour as Tony.
