Since the triangles are similar we can formulate the following equation:


\begin{gathered} (7)/(28+7)=(5)/(x) \\ (7)/(35)=(5)/(x)\text{ (Adding)} \\ (1)/(5)=(5)/(x)\text{ (Simplifying on the right side)} \\ x=(5)/((1)/(5))\text{ (Isolating x)} \\ x=\text{ }25\text{ }(\text{Dividing fractions)} \\ \text{The answer is 25 ft} \end{gathered}
