For the region where the function is increasing, as x is increasing, y is also increasing.

For the region where the function is decreasing, as x is increasing, y is decreasing.

For the region where the function is constant, as x is increasing, y remains constant

Increasing interval is (- 4, - 1)

The function is sometimes constant

Decreasing interval is (3, infinity)

The constant interval is (- 1, 3)
