The radii of two concentric circles are 9cm and 6cm respectively. Find the area of the space between the two circles.

Area of a circle = pir^2

Big one= pi(9)^2=254.34
Small one= pi(6)^2=113.04

Now minus small one from big one

254.34-113.04=141.3 cm^2

So your answer is 141.3 cm^2
