Width of rectangle = x
Length =3x+7
Perimeter of rectangle = 158cm
2(l+w)=158
2(3x+7+x)=158
2(4x+7)=158
8x+14=158
8x=158-14
x=144/8
x=18
Therefore the width of the rectangle is 18cm
Length=3x+18+7
54+7=61cm
Area=lxw
=61x18
=1098^2
