1) because there are 10 total boxes in box 1 and they want 2/5 of them color in 4 boxes to make 4/10 which can reduce to 2/5

2) they say make it unlikey that a blue box will be picked.. so color in one box

3) now don't color any of the boxes.. so no matter which boxes is picked.. there isn't any blue ones. :)

Hey! In the first box, color 4 squares blue. I am not really sure exactly how many to color blue in the second one, but I would go with coloring 2 blue. In the third box, do not mark any squares blue. Hope this helps!
