P1 = (-2, -2)

P2 = (5, -5)

1.- Find the slope

m = (-5 + 2) / (5 + 2)

m = -3/7

2.- Find the equation of the line

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

-Substitution

y + 2 = -3/7(x + 2)

-Simplification

y + 2 = -3/7x - 6/7

y = -3/7x - 6/7 - 2

y = -3/7x - 6/7 - 7/7

y = -3/7x - 13/7

Result

\text{ y = -}(3)/(7)x\text{ - }(13)/(7)
