We know that

• Daniel has 2 1/3 hours to work.

,

• It takes her one-sixth hour to finish one problem.

First, we have to transform the mixed number into a fraction.

2(1)/(3)=(2\cdot3+1)/(3)=(6+1)/(3)=(7)/(3)

She has 7/3 hours in total.

Now, if one problem takes her 1/ 6 of an hour, we divide the fractions to know the total number of problems she can finish

p=((7)/(3))/((1)/(6))=(7\cdot6)/(3\cdot1)=(42)/(3)=14

Therefore, she can finish 14 problems.
