We choose the points:

(1, 1859) and (8, 4372)

The equation is of the form y = mx + b, where

slope:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(4372-1859)/(8-1)=(2513)/(7)=359

intercept:

\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ 1859=359(1)+b \\ 1859-359=359+b-359 \\ b=1500 \end{gathered}

So, the equation is:

y=359x+1500
