A skate park charges a $3.00 for admission and $2.50 an hour to rent ice skates. Create and solve an equation to show the cost to go to the skate park and skate for 6 hours.

Answer:

Admission (A)=$3.00

$2.50 per hour to rent ice skates

Let X represent admission and Y represent rental of ice skates

$3.00X+$2.50Y=1

2.5Y*6=15

3.00+15=18

Therefore the cost will be $18.00 in 6hours
