Multiplications and fractions

In order to multiply an integer and a fraction we just multiply the integer and the numerator:

7*(7)/(6)=(7*7)/(6)=(49)/(6)

This is because two fractions are multiplied "in line":

(7)/(1)*(7)/(6)=(7*7)/(1*6)=(49)/(6)

Answer: 7 × 7/6 = 49/6
