A middle school has 500 students. A survey was given to 50 randomly selected students, and 25 said they would buy fresh fruit in the cafeteria if it were offered. How many students all together could be expected to buy fresh fruit from the cafeteria if it were offered?

Answer:

250

Explanation:

If they asked 50 people, and 25 said yes, that means you could excpect about 50% to buy fresh fruit, or 250 out of 500. 500/2=250
