Given data:

The given equation of line is Y=5x-3.

The given point is (a, b)=(0, -5).

The standard form of the line is,

y=mx+c

Comapre the given equation.

m=5.

parallel lines have equal slope.

m'=m

m'=5.

The equation of line is,

y-(-5)=m'(x-0)

y+5=5x

y=5x-5

Thus, the equation of line is y=5x-5.
