Given:

Find-:

The coordinates after 3 unit right and 10 unit down

Explanation-:

Coordinates of DBC is:

\begin{gathered} D=(-4,8) \\ \\ B=(-4,2) \\ \\ C=(6,2) \end{gathered}

After right shift only x coordinates change by +3 units

So point is:

\begin{gathered} D=(-4+3,8) \\ \\ D=(-1,8) \\ \\ \\ B=(-4+3,2) \\ \\ B=(-1,2) \\ \\ \\ C=(6+3,2) \\ \\ C=(9,2) \end{gathered}

After 10 units down

Coordinates after 10 units down only change in y coordinates -10 unites

\begin{gathered} D=(-1,8-10) \\ \\ D=(-1,-2) \\ \\ \\ B=(-1,2-10) \\ \\ B=(-1,-8) \\ \\ \\ C=(9,2-10) \\ \\ C=(9,-8) \end{gathered}

So, coordinates after translation is:

\begin{gathered} D=(-1,-2) \\ \\ B=(-1,-8) \\ \\ C=(9,-8) \end{gathered}
