price of a blouse: x

Price of a pair of pants: y

Jillian bought three blouses and two pair of pants for $92

3x+2y= 92

A week later, she bought four blouses and five pairs of pants for $188.

4x+5y= 188

We have the system of equations:

3x+2y= 92 (a)

4x+5y= 188 (
