The domain is the set of the first components of the ordered pairs

The range is the set of the second components of the ordered pairs.

So, the domain and range of the relation are:

Domain = {6, 1, -5, 8}

Range = {6, 7, 9}

Then, a function is a relation when every element of the domain is related to only one element of the range, so the relation is a function.

Answer:

Domain = {6, 1, -5, 8}

Range = {6, 7, 9}

It is a function
