From the image given,

\begin{gathered} \theta=60^0\text{ (given)} \\ d=24\operatorname{cm}\text{ (given)} \\ r=(d)/(2)=(24)/(2)=12\operatorname{cm} \end{gathered}

The area of the sector is given by;

\begin{gathered} A=(\theta)/(360)*\pi r^2 \\ A=(60)/(360)*\pi*12^2 \\ A=(8640\pi)/(360) \\ A=24\pi \end{gathered}

Therefore, the area of the sector in terms of pie is

24\pi cm^2
