the area of a complete circle can be calculated with the next formula

A=\pi r^2

the radio is half of the diameter

r=12/2=6

First, we need to calculate the complete area

A=\pi r^2=3.14\cdot6^2=113.04

Because we have a semicircle the area is half of the area of the complete circle

A_(sc)=(113.04)/(2)=56.52m^2

Asn= area semicircle

The correct answer is C
