To graph the line, we could just evaluate two points of our function and drawn a line that passes through them. One of the points is the y-intercept, which is (0, 6):


y(0)=4(0)+6=6

To find the corresponding height for a pepper plant 6 weeks old, we just have to evaluate x = 6 in our function:


y(6)=4(6)+6=30

The corresponding height is 30cm. The graph of our line is:
