The cylinder has 9m in diameter and 19 m in length.

The surface area of any cylinder of diameter d and length l is: d*pi*l

In this case, we have: 9*19*pi = 537 m^2

But we can note that each end of the cylinder is associated with a semi-sphere, with diameter 9 m. The suface area of a sphere is 4*pi*d.

Then, we got: 4*pi*d = 113 m^2.

Therefore, the total surface area is 537 + 113 = 650 m^2.
