We have an equation of a line: y = -x+5.

We have to identify 2 points in order to graph it.

One point can be identified as the y-intercept: (0,5).

Other point can be find by replacing x with some value, like x=1:


\begin{gathered} y=-x+5 \\ y(1)=-1+5=4 \end{gathered}

Then, with points (0,5) and (1,4) we can plot:
