In the given picture we can observe a circle graph that shows how the students answered.

a. Which color was chosen by approximately one-fourth of the students?

When we divide a cricle in 4 equal parts, each part forms a 90° angle in the center, then, if we compare the parts in the given circle, the one that forms an approximately 90° angle is the red color answer:

Thus, the answer is RED color.

b. Approximately what percentage of the students chose Other or Red?

One-fourth of the students represent 25% of them. Then, the students who chose red are 25%. The students who chose Other represent a smaller portion of students.

We could say that the approximate percentage of students who choose Other or Red is 30%. Because over 25% the next option is 50% and that would be half of the circle, and it is not correct.

The answer is 30%.
