Given :

The slope of the line is m = -1/2

And y - intercept = b = 3

so, the slope intercept form of the line will be :

y=-(1)/(2)x+3

The standard form of the line has a general form like :

Ax+By=C

So, we need to convert the slope - intercept form to the standard form

It will be as following :

y=-(1)/(2)x+3

Multiply both sides by 2

\begin{gathered} 2\cdot y=2\cdot(-(1)/(2)x+3)_{} \\ 2y=2\cdot-(1)/(2)x+2\cdot3 \\ 2y=-x+6 \end{gathered}

Add x to both sides:

x+2y=6

So, the standard form of the given line is:

x + 2y = 6
