First, calculate the area of each triangle:

Area of a triangle: 1/2 x base x height

Small triangle: A1

base = 2 cm

heigth = 2 cm

A1 = 1/2 x 2 x 2 = 2cm2

Big triangle:

Base: 6 cm

Height: 5 cm

A2 = 1/2 x 6 x 5 = 15 cm2

Now, to find the probability, divide the smaller triangle area by the bigger triangle area:

Probability = 2 / 15
