A wire, of mass m = 0, 2 kg and length l = 0.5m, current I = 2A and "floats" horizontally in a homogeneous magnetic plane with horizontal dynamic lines perpendicular to the wire. Calculate the magnetic flux density in the wire. Given g = 10 m / s ^ 2.

We have the next data

m=0.2 kg

l=0.5m

I=2A

g=10m/s^2

The formula that we will use the next formula to calculate the force

F=m\cdot a=0.2\cdot10=2

where F is the force and a =g

Then for field strength

\begin{gathered} F=B\cdot l\cdot I \\ \end{gathered}

We substitute the values

2=B\cdot0.5\cdot2

Then we isolate the B

\begin{gathered} 0.5B=(2)/(2)=1 \\ B=(1)/(0.5)=\text{ 2T} \end{gathered}

ANSWER

B=2T
