The coordinates of point C is (-a,-5b) and point B is (3a,b).

Determine the distance between point C and B by using distance formula.


\begin{gathered} CB=\sqrt[]{(-a-3a)^2+(-5b-b)^2} \\ =\sqrt[]{(-4a)^2+(-6b)^2} \\ =\sqrt[]{16a^2+36b^2} \end{gathered}

So distance between point C and B is,


\sqrt[]{16a^2+36b^2}
