it is given that,

AB = CD

and,

As the alternate angles are equal so,

AD will be parallel to BC,

the area two triangles,

ADC and ABC,

AB = CD ..... given

mAC = AC ...... common side between the triangles,

so, by rule of SAS ( side - angle - side)

thus, the given triangles are congruent.
